Sosik, LLC, was founded in June, 2002 by Jeff Gawronski and Deryl
Sweeney. Their mission: to provide products that enhance the
quality of life for college students living in residence halls.
Since then, Sosik, LLC has exceeded expectations, achieved a very
successful new product launch, and attracted national
attention as a company dedicated to delivering convenience,
quality, and value to their customers.
Recognizing that few companies create innovative dorm-related
products, Sosik, LLC focuses on finding solutions to many of the
hassles facing today’s students. The company introduced the
Mini-Mantle, The Original Bedpost Shelf in 2003. The product is
designed to allow students residing in bunk beds or lofted beds
a convenient place to store their items bedside.
(i.e. alarm clocks, remote controls, eye glasses, cell phones,
beverages, etc.)
In its introductory year, Sosik, LLC targeted independent
collegiate bookstores across the country as the primary
channel to deliver the Mini-Mantle into the hands of students.
To date, the product is featured on the shelves of more that
one hundred collegiate bookstores coast to coast.
Sosik, LLC has built a reputation for providing quality goods at
an affordable price. In doing so, the company has been recognized

students, and parents alike. The company is dedicated to making
